  • Certified fencing instructor by the United States Fencing Association in foil and epee & saber.
  • Holds a US Fencing Coaches Association  Moniteur certification in foil and epee & saber.
  • Member of Academie d'Armes Internationale (AAI).
  • Eight years competitive fencing experience
  • Trains in the National Coaching Development Program – Coaches College at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
  • Registered with the National Coaches Registry through the American Sport Education Program
  • Certified Red Cross Instructor Trainer in First Aid, CPR, AED & Sports Safety.
  • Member of United States Fencing Association & US Fencing Coaches Association.
  • Member of National Federation of State High School Coaches Association.
  • Clinton Fencing Club registered with the US Fencing Association in the Ark-La-Miss Division of the Southwest Section.
  • Fences right and left handed with ratings in foil and epee.
  • Former Mississippi State Games Epee Champion

  • Certified fencing instructor by the United States Fencing Association in all three weapons.
  • Holds a US Fencing Coaches Association  Prevost certification in foil and epee & saber.
  • Member of Academie d'Armes Internationale (AAI).
  • Trains in the National Coaching Development  Program – Coaches College at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
  • Registered with the national Coaches Registry through the American Sport Education Program
  • Certified by the Red Cross in CPR and Sports Safety training.
  • Rated a level six referee by the USFA.
  • Placed second in the State Championships in 2001 & 2003 and placed second in the divisional championships in 2001
  • Students have medaled numerous times at the USFA divisional championships & Mississippi State Games.
  • Students have fenced in the 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 Junior Olympics. 
  • Students fence regularly in tournaments in New Orleans, Jackson, Shreveport, Oxford, Laurel, Hattiesburg, Ocean Springs, Birmingham and Junior Olympic Venues.

  • Certified fencing instructor by the USFCA in foil since 1990
  • Over fifteen years coaching experience and over twenty years competitive experience at divisional, sectional, and national levels in both foil and epee
  • Assistant coach at Cornell University from 1996-2003
  • Head coach at Washington and Lee University from 2005-2006
  • Head coach at Millsaps College 2007-
  • several times under-19 Maryland Division foil champion
  • former Maryland State Games bronze medalist in foil
  • San Francisco Bay Cup division II champion in epee (2004)
  • San Francisco Bay Cup division I silver medalist in epee (2004)
  • member of two Ivy League champion teams, undefeated in conference
