For
Practice:
Mask, glove, jacket, foil, long pants ($110-140) For Electric
Scoring: Add:
lame’, body cord and electric foil ($120-150) For
Competition: Add:
knickers, socks, underarm protection, a second body cord and
electric foil ($110-160), Plastic chest protector (required for
females) ($35)
The
fencing uniform should be form fitting, comfortable and free of
unnecessary wrinkles against which a point may
snag.
Equipment is usually bought on-line or
by phone.
